Failure to provide all of the information required by the checklist will delay your permit review and approval.
Applications for building permits are accepted Monday – Thursday: 8:30AM – 12:00PM / Close 12:00PM – 1:30PM / Reopen 1:30PM – 3:30PM
Friday: 8:30AM – 12:00PM
Weekends: Closed
Once a building permit is issued by the Building Department, the builder/contractor must begin work within 180 days or the permit will become void and a new application must be made. Once you start construction on your building, building inspections cannot be scheduled more than 180 days apart. The permit must be picked up and paid for no later than 60 days after the permit has been approved (a representative from the Building Division will contact you by phone once the permit has been approved). Permit applications not picked up within 60 days after being approved will be destroyed.
